Description: Psychiatrist (ACT Team)

Mental health agency located in Harlem has an opening for a part-time Psychiatrist (21 hours) who can work day days and/or evening hours for our ACT team. Candidate will diagnose and treat consumers with mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. Ensures that all consumers receive quality clinical services. Extensive field work in the community is mandatory. Medical degree and four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Psychiatrist licensed by New York State. A DEA certificate must be submitted with an expiration date. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from consumers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Provide complete psychiatric evaluation. Computer literate. Excellent communication and writing skills.

Qualifications: Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
