Program Director, Permanent and Transitional HIV/AIDS Housing Programs

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Program Director is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all Permanent and Transitional HIV/AIDS Housing Programs located in the Bronx and Brooklyn. Responsible for the supervision of Assistant Program Directors, overseeing the day-to-day program operations, development and implementation of program enhancements, monitor compliance with regulatory and funding agencies, evaluating and implementing policies and procedures for the programs through a team approach. The Program Director is on call 24/7.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: A Masters Degree in social work (MSW), public health, health administration, or related field; five (5) or more years of administrative and supervisory experience operating Permanent and Transitional Housing Program(s) and providing direct services related to the treatment and recovery of adults afflicted with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and/or serious mental illness. Bilingual-Spanish preferred. HIV/AIDS advanced training and CASAC certificate a plus.
