Description

Urban Pathways, Inc. a leader in providing continuum of care services for the homeless and mentally ill adults is currently seeking a Director of Social Services for our newly constructed 55 unit CR/SRO residence in the Bronx. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all clinical services including programming, staffing patterns and case records complies with both OMH regulations and internal policies and procedure. Performs crisis intervention with residents as needed. Additionally, the selected candidate will be responsible for supervision of social services staff.

Qualifications

Requires MSW and 5 years experience with Mentally ill, chemically dependent, homeless populations including 2 years supervisory experience. Must be well organized, detail oriented, flexible, and results-oriented; possess strong clinical skills. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Salary

Salary commensurate with experience.
