Director of PROS program

Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey

Description

Manage and direct the Goodwill PROS Rebound Program, which involves administering a NYS OMH/Medicaid budget to provide necessary services to individuals with a diagnosed mental illness and functional disability. Responsible for staffing management, monitoring revenue/expenses, track participant referrals, placements and billable hours. Develops ongoing relationships with potential referral sources, service providers and community resources. Reviews all client referrals, determines eligibility and assigns to appropriate staff. Establishes Evidence Based Practices and sets goals and objectives for the program and ensures program remains complaint and in good standing.

Qualifications

LMSW/LCSW or Clinical Psychologist with NYS licensure.
Have minimum of 3 to 5 years exp working with persons living with severe mental illnesses. More than three years of supervisory experience is preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to mult-task in a fast paced and demanding environment, Should have excellent capacity to manage, develop and motivate staff to continue to increase their skills in order to expand their program and/or performance as needed.
The PROS program is located at our Astoria, Queens headquarters.

Salary

Compensation package is competitive for a mission based not for profit social service agency.
