The Educational Alliance, a 501 (3) (c) nonprofit located in lower Manhattan, seeks an experienced, dedicated and dynamic Clinical Supervisor to provide support in the planning, development, execution, and on-going evaluation of services at a 100-bed co-ed Therapeutic Community.

The Clinical Supervisor will ensure delivery of high quality services to the clients and assist Site Director with day-to-day operations; provide clinical supervision, training and direction to assigned staff and interns; evaluate staff and interns; participate in the design, development and implementation of programming that meets the changing needs of our clients; facilitate and co-lead groups for clients; monitor attainment of goals and effectiveness of services; ensure that program productivity goals are reached; preserve and cultivate relationships with other programs within The Educational Alliance and the larger community to benefit the program and our clients; collaborate and communicate with criminal justice, ACS, HRA/NADAP and ancillary agencies in which we share client care; conduct chart audits and ensure all client record keeping is in compliance with agency, city, state, and federal requirements.

The Supervisor will also assume responsibility for Quality Assurance of all chart documentation in AWARDS; provide Field Work instruction for the MSW interns; co-lead staff and case conference meetings; assure that social work staff and interns operate within their scope of expertise and practice and participate in recruitment, selection and hiring of social work staff.

Qualifications

LCSW with at least 5 years of direct clinical experience with chemically addicted adults in a therapeutic community setting preferred. Experience in evidence-based social work practice. 2+ years of supervisory experience. Ability and willingness to provide on-going training and professional development to staff and interns. Bilingual Spanish preferred, SIFI certification required. Clinical Supervisor is required to have evening availability (after 5 PM) at least one evening per week. Comprehensive knowledge of the ethical considerations involved in the practice of licensed clinical social work. Knowledge of supervisory and training techniques and practices used in a clinical social work setting. Ability to supervise and provide guidance to social work staff and students in compliance with all laws and regulations relating to the practice of social work and compliance with OASAS and Medicaid.
