Program Director – Mental Health Supported Housing Program

The Program Director of the Supported Housing Program is responsible for the planning, development, monitoring and day-to-day operations of 280 units of scatter supported housing in the Bronx and Queens for seriously and persistently mentally ill (SPMI)persons, many of whom also have substance abuse disorders. Directly supervises an
Assistant Program Director for Queens and a Clinical Supervisor for the Bronx. The program provides full range of case management and supportive services to clients to enable them to live independently in the community.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW); (LMSW; LCSW; or LCSW-R, preferred); or Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology; and three (3) years post-graduate, direct clinical mental health experience. At least five years of administrative and supervisory experience is required preferably in a supported housing program. Bilingual/Spanish and experience with adults with substance abuse disorders is a plus.
