Description

The Bridge, a New York City based behavioral health agency is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology. This position is responsible for managing all computer, telecommunications and electronic data systems within the agency, including developing and implementing a comprehensive data and voice communication strategy that supports the agency’s administrative, fiscal and clinical operations. The VP will manage a staff of three, as well as consultants, and vendors for the agency's information systems, networks, phone, internet accounts, etc. Experience and ability in hands-on installation and maintenance of computer hardware, software applications and network setup is required. An understanding of Meaningful Use, RHIO’s and emerging health technology is preferred. Position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
The hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm. Benefits include three weeks’ vacation, nine holidays and three personal days per year. After one month’s employment employees are eligible for medical, dental and life insurance.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology. Mininum of six years’ progressively responsible IT experience in a healthcare setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) Desirable
