Research Project Manager

Description
The Research Project Manager will report to and work collaboratively with the Director of Research and Grants Management (Director) on Amida Care research awards. The Research Project Manager will play a key role in working with the Director to record, analyze, and report on trial performance and adherence to timelines, budget, and enrollment projections.
A. Essential Functions
• Assist the Director in preparing grants, study protocols and study specific forms, standard operating procedure (SOP) development, and documentation for IRB approval.
• Assist the Director in developing study and operational budgets and routing of grants/contracts through to final execution.
• Under the direction of the Director, manage research studies including the development of recruitment strategies to increase patient participation in research studies and identifying data management options.
• Ensure research studies are conducted in accordance with all applicable regulations (local, and federal), GCP guidelines, and SOPs.
• Manage grant and research study timelines, project plans, and budgets.
• Manage a system for tracking projects including study, investigator, and IRB information, and patient recruitment activity.
• Ensure that accurate and cleaned data is entered into the database in a timely fashion.
• Ensure accurate progress of a research study from the planning and approval stages through study completion, post-study closure, and reporting.
• Maintain current knowledge in principles and practices of project management, team communication, computer software and IT training, protocol and CRF writing, adverse event reporting, and budget control and reporting.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Minimum 10 years professional experience in project management, health informatics, managing research projects and research databases.
EDUCATION REQUIRED • Bachelor’s Degree in a health related and informatics field.
