Job BoardPROS Recovery CounselorThe Guidance Center of Westchester DescriptionAs a PROS team member, work collaboratively in a dynamic, person-centered, evidence-based program that provides adults with mental illness with a broad range of integrated services designed to help them achieve community life goals for work, education, relationships, socialization, living, and health and wellness. Maintain a caseload, conduct assessments, develop service plans, design curricula and teach classes, provide individual interventions in PROS service areas such as wellness self-management, relapse prevention, basic living skills training, family psycho-education, clinical counseling & therapy, integrated dual disorder treatment etc. Participate in team meetings, conferences and in-service trainings. QualificationsLMSW, LCSW, or LMHC and minimum 2 years professional experience providing mental health recovery-oriented and evidence-based services. Background in dual disorder treatment and experience with Electronic Health Reporting strongly preferred; excellent computer, writing and oral presentation skills essential.
