RCS Entitlements Specialist (Institute)

Description

The CUCS institute is seeking a RCS Entitlements Specialist. The CUCS Institute promotes excellence in health and human service organizations across the nation through staff training, support for implementation of evidence based practices and performance management, referral management, and ongoing management and administrative services.
Responsibilities: The RCS Entitlements Specialist is responsible for completing Entitlements applications for SMI individuals being released from NYS prison facilities to NYC in collaboration with pre-release coordinators.
Additional responsibilities may include providing training / technical assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with four years relevant work experience or Master’s degree in related field
• Experience with NYS SSI/SSD applications required
• Experience with justice-involved SMI population preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good computer literacy skills with database knowledge preferred
• Bilingual preferred
