Program Director - East Hampton

Description

Phoenix House seeks an experienced Program Director to administer, supervise and direct all activities involved in establishing a therapeutic environment in our East Hampton location.

S/he will oversee administrative and clinical day-to-day program operations and directly supervise clinical and non-clinical staff. The Program Director will maintain contact with all ancillary managers, gathering information to improve management of the program. They will monitor the program and the facility, as well as ensure that the program is in compliance with all state, third party and CARF regulations.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

• BA/BS degree required; Master’s degree preferred

• NYS Clinical Licensure/Credentialed preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum five (5) years’ management experience in substance abuse treatment required

• Demonstrated prior success with maintaining regulatory compliance

• Documented experience maintaining and enhancing programmatic productivity

• Experience acting as community liaison for a program(s)

• Progressive responsibility within career with proven successes

• Familiarity with NYS Criminal Justice System

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Must have thorough knowledge of the regulations governing Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Services and OASAS requirements

• Ability to exceptionally perform and lead under clinical and administrative pressure

• Essential to be flexible with work schedule in order to ensure adequate clinical coverage of the program; must be available on an as need basis for emergency situations—24/7 on call

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; solid presentation skills preferred

• Familiarity with EMR preferred
