Community Liaison

Description

The Community Agency Liaison is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community based organizations, social services agencies, staff of the New York State Office of Menatal Health, the New York City DOHMH, the criminal justice system and other parts of the NYC system of care. The Community Agency Liaison's focus is on listening to and addressing concerns of key stakeholders, and driving ongoing review of network adequacy, and service to our members. The Community Agency Liaison partners with Network Managers and Regional Care Managers to ensure that the network meets of the needs of the membership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in grants management, auditing and compliance in a public environment
• Experience with initiating and managing corrective action plans, intermediate level of experience working with MS Excel
• Willingness to engage in business travel up to 50% of the time, valid New York driver's license
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and excellent problem solving & analytic skills
• Previous experience with providers, agencies, and facilities as a practitioner or provider case manager preferred
• Familiarity with operations, financials, quality assurance, procurement and regulations preferred
• 3+ years of experience in public sector Network relations preferred
• Experience in working in the New York behavioral health delivery system preferred
• Demonstrated experience and ability in developing provider, agency, and facility networks in a public sector environment preferred
