Potential Legal Issues for Providers Working with Court-Involved Youth

May 22, 2015 | 9:30am - 12:30pm | Doors open at 9am for registration

We are pleased to have David S. Long, Esq., who has worked in law enforcement, probation, litigation and, most recently, at the Fortune Society where he served as an Executive level director of six programs providing successful alternatives to incarceration and productive reentry options into society. David attended Fordham Law School and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from CUNYs John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

In providing behavioral health services to court-involved youth, it is possible that a clinicians work-product and/or the clinician her/himself will need to appear in court. This workshop will explain the legal processes that a clinician may become involved with as well as strategies to address potential scenarios.

**We reserve the right to limit the number of attendees per organization based on the
demand for the workshop/meeting.**
