Recovery Pilot Project This collaboration between the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Howie T. Harp Peer Advocacy Center, and The Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies’ Center for Rehabilitation and Recovery, will pilot the hiring and training of peer staff to further the delivery of rehabilitation and recovery services at New York City Continuing Day Treatment Programs (CDTPs). Youth Initiative Transition to Independence ( TIP) Trainings: Core Competencies Workshops for Providers Serving SED Youth/Adolescents Core Competencies in Working with SED Youth will be held on September 18th and 19th. Topics include learning how to discover strengths, gaining knowledge of the connection between behavior and outcomes, and learning how to teach skills in community settings.
