* Information regarding Continuing Education Credit: This course has been approved for 9 Social work CE hours. This course has been approved for 9 CASAC continuing education contact hours. In order to receive the CE hours participants must: arrive on time; stay for all sessions; complete an evaluation, submit a pre and post-test; and document their attendance via the CE sign in and sign-out roster. No credit will be provided for partial attendance. Trainer Name: Bradley Jacobs, LCSW, is the Director of the Center for Rehabilitation and Recovery at the Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies in NYC. Trainer Bio: Bradley Jacobs, LCSW is the Director of the Center for Rehabilitation & Recovery, at The Coalition for Behavioral Health, where he provides overall guidance and administration to a team delivering training and technical assistance focused on promoting person-centered and recovery-oriented services to behavioral health agencies in New York City. Prior to joining The Coalition, Bradley was the co-Director of Adult Behavioral Health programs at CASES, an agency providing alternative sentencing options for people with behavioral health issues who come into contact with the criminal justice system. Over the past 18 years Bradley’s work has focused on delivering services to people with serious mental illness and promoting practices that support participant choice and enhance recovery, health and wellbeing. Bradley obtained his MSW from the NYU School of Social Work in 2001 and has worked in various social service and nonprofit settings including: homeless services and street outreach, housing first approaches to supportive housing, Assertive Community Treatment, Alternatives to Incarceration, psychiatric research, and research for the visually impaired. Important Notice: The Coalition for Behavioral Health SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0098.
