Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Records Incentive Programs

The provisions in the HITECH Act authorized CMS to establish incentive programs for eligible Medicare and Medicaid providers who adopt, implement, upgrade or meaningfully use certified Electronic Health Records (EHR) technology.

HHS Final Rules

On Tuesday July 13th U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced the following two final rules to support “meaningful use” of electronic health records:
