Beyond Burnout: Self Care for Individuals Working with Traumatized Families


This training will provide self-care knowledge and tools for people who provide services for families who have experienced trauma.

They will walk away with a more thorough understanding of what trauma is, vicarious trauma and self-care assessments and techniques.

After completing the training, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize, assess and treat vicarious trauma

  • Understand how families experience trauma

  • Participants will learn about compassion fatigue and how to implement a self-care plan

    Stacey Younge, LCSW C2C therapist for CEO and CASES. Private Practice supervisor and clinician

    *Information for Continuing Education: This course is approved for 3 LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, and CASAC/CPP/CPS CE hours. Please have your Social Work License Number on hand.
